Changelog

What changed in each release of Kensa.

26.9.3 (2026-09-21)

Your standard folders are in the palette now: Desktop, Downloads, iCloud Drive and the rest, under the names your Mac uses for them. Enter opens one in Finder. macOS asks once before Kensa may open Desktop, Documents or Downloads.
Finder and the other system apps show up in the search.
Newly installed apps appear right away, without restarting Kensa.
Background helpers no longer clutter the results.
The palette no longer changes shade as you type.
The robot in the search field is easier to see in dark mode.

Release tooling and the website. Nothing changed in the app itself.

First release.
